My first week of tapering went pretty good. I’ve been trying to keep my runs easy, not push the pace, etc., and felt like my overall mileage was just about right. This week is a big week! My mileage will continue to drop and I’ll add in an extra rest day on Friday. I’m really focusing a lot of effort on nutrition and hydration and getting as much extra sleep and rest as possible. My goal is to better my odds that I race to the best of my ability this Sunday! Only 6 days away! EEK! ; )
