If your read my post yesterday (here), you’ll understand why the low mileage and slow paces. Granted, a couple of those runs were on snow and ice but I kept my week easy intentionally. I’m so over it.

While I’m hopeful that I can jump into training this week with way more effort than I could give last week, it may be a couple of days before I’m really, really ready. But there are other things I’m doing too, besides just running. This week will also be dedicated to cleaning up my diet (I did the annual pantry/fridge purge yesterday), getting back into my normal rhythm with meals, and focusing on whole, nutrient-dense foods again to help my body heal and prepare for the work that is to come.

  1. Ah I am so with you about cleaning up my diet. Ugh! The holidays got me on a dessert bender! Hope that you are feeling better and on the mend. Still a pretty great week for not feeling so great but I totally understand the frustration!
