On Sunday, August 2nd, I ended my eight-day “no running” streak. I learned some valuable lessons from taking some time off, which I’ll share at a later date. I will say that, all-in-all, my break was a success. I tested the waters yesterday with an easy three miles and felt great. Mentally, as well as physically, I’m feeling fresh and excited to dive back in to training. It doesn’t hurt that the pressure is on with getting ready for the Portland Marathon! Just under 9 weeks to go!!!
