Well… oops. Not exactly how I had hoped the week was going to go but I’ve quickly come to realization that the next few months are going to be a whirlwind of cross-country practices and meets, work and personal obligations, and whatever else life throws my way so I’m just going to have to roll with it. I might miss a run. Or two. I might decide to enjoy a dark Sunday morning with a few cups of coffee rather than lace up my running shoes for a long run, opting instead for three easy miles hours after the weather clears.

I’ve decided that I’d rather enjoy this time than put pressure on myself. So if I only run 24 miles one week, then I only run 24 miles. That said, I sure as heck will be looking for something fun to train for, and run, come November! ; )
